Definition

A form of schizophrenia that is characterized by marked psychomotor active,  a variety of catatonic symptoms.

At least two of the following:

  1. Cataplexy.
  2. Increased motor movement with no stimuli.
  3. Mutism or extreme negativism.
  4. Posturing,  grimacing,  or stereotyped movement.
  5. Echolalia or echopraxia.
